`talentime 2005

today was like so memorable and significant for Sec Four squad 2005, for us, probably cuz this is our last year joining talentime in redcross le and talentime always holds such fond memories for all of us, for all three years- the constant practices esp for dance, the paraparasakura, grease, edison and finally this year's stick dance. Before our performance theres the long wait in the holding room putting on stinky makeup and having some last minute practices, the grp hugs and encouragements of 'we can do it de' and 'for our unit, our last time' right before we go out, the horrible moments on stage shaking like mad and trying like anything to keep my voice from quivering and look emotional and calm and make eye contact when what I was really feeling was this gripping nervousness, the looks we exchange on stage as we try and smile at each other while we sang... these memories mean so much. And then right after our performance all we really wanted to do was to see our squadmates, probably cuz we know they will reassure us no matter who badly we really did. And when we do get to see them finally, I get the feeling that everything is finally over and I feel reassured somehow that perhaps we dint do thattt badly after all. Anw that was what happened yesterday(: and once again I've come to realise just how much my squadmates mean to me. and my jnrs and snrs.

Oh man think I'm a little screwed. that sounds like a compo of some sort. Anw recap about yesterday. met jh and enli and vera at redhill mrt station. stupid jh was late as usual so me and vera and enli practiced our songs as softly as we could while we waited right in the middle of the mrt station. haha dead stupid pls. So jh finally arrived and we took 64 to dbs arts centre. we were like damn awkward there and feeling so out of place cuz everyone looked dressed and makeuped while we were all wearing shirt and shorts. haha so underdressed liddat. den had rehearsal. the auditorium was so freaking cold that my teeth were clattering like mad and I had to sing=/ good thing no funny clattering sounds came out of the microphone=/ rehearsal ended at ard 11 then we had to go and change and put makeup and everything. Had to wear this mascara thing for the eyelashes and its the worst cuz it restricts your blinking argh=/ or maybe cuz I was just so not use to it la. yea saw beng and zx and sn and shaz((: and they bought our lunch for us which was a few doughnuts and sandwiches haha. ate. then went to the holding room. spent like nearly 5 hrs there la pls. Anw it was a pretty nice room with mirrors all over and everone there looked so professional cuz they brought things like hair straighteners and blah blah!? madness. waited and waited and practised and practised. then was me and enli's duet=/ think we were the 13th item yea. enli was like not scared like that while I was terrified pls. think I was shivering so much that I had to stand up stright to put pressure on my legs so that the shaking is not so visible. too bad it was still very visible la=/ finally finished but we had to go back to the holding room cuz our grp song with vera and jh was the 23rd item. neh neh la. group song wasnt that scared anymore(: but it was still dead cold. yep sing sing sing. saw xinhui snr in front taking photos I think. her specs are so cute haha. uh then went back to the holding rm. had to wait until the second intermission before they let us out=/ wah lau like prisoners like that. made a few new friends(: finally can get out of the holding room at ard 5 plus. went to find shaz they all and we found them on the 2nd floor(: watched the rest of the performances with them which was not many. then prize presentation. had to go down right before that to wait. Anw the four of us were feeling extra cuz its not like we will win anything that kind but our duet got first. HAHA. thats already one big joke. then our grp song also got first. haha we were how stunned pls. After getting the duet trphy we were like not bothering to stay for the results for the grp song and then they announced the results ohmytians. at first we thought they announce wrongly and will go like "I'm sorry there was a mistake" ahhh. went back up and hugged the rest. wanted to cry la so ridiculus. oh man typed so much le and theres still a part two. yep went out for dinner with the jnrs. went plazasign and ate kfc. wasnt much of a dinner together cuz we were all sitting on separate tables due to lack of space. then went to take neoprints at action city. was how hilarious pls cuz 16 of us squashed into the tiny neoprint booth and me and shaz gave up trying to get our faces in cuz its impossible and we decided to just sit down and try to breathe. nightmare man hahaha. but was so freaking funny la((: after that took another one with my squadmates. hahaha. the machine sucks la the camera is seriously slow in reacting. nehnehfied=/ so it turned out screwed and we all look retarded=/ yep then went home. haha. I love us(:
